Houston's Young Power Couples Step Up.  More than 800 well-heeled young guests, aged approximately from 30 to 40, filled the ballroom with enthusiasm as they raised a record setting $500,000 for a select group of local charities that make a difference in the lives of children and families in the Houston community. The organization has been holding this annual gala and raising funds for 45 years thanks to an unending flow of young couples with a sense of community spirit. Among the 17 charities benefiting are the Arbor School, Undies for Everyone and Making It Better.
