The Children’s Fund is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping early stage charities fulfill their mission to provide critical services to disadvantaged children across the greater Houston area. 100% of each dollar raised is converted into a saved life, a cured body, a full tummy, a brighter future and a healed heart.
With your purchase at our Virtual Holiday Market, The Children’s Fund can . . .
- $50 can provide a week's worth of new socks and underwear for four Houston students in need (Charity: Clothed by Faith). Clothed By Faith’s mission is to demonstrate God’s love by providing gently-used clothing to those in need. Great care is given to how each child is presented with the clothing - the end result being to dignify and empower individuals through providing quality clothing.
- $100 can provide one food insecure child in Houston with weekend food bags for the ENTIRE school year (Charity: Bayou City Blessings in a Backpack). Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry.
- $250 can end the hunger of ten Houston babies in immediate need of emergency formula (Charity: LIFE Houston). LIFE Houston has been filling bottles and feeding babies since 1988. They are the only agency that provides emergency food for babies in the greater Houston area.
- $500 can provide a class of 2nd graders at San Francisco Nativity Academy with new math, science, and reading curriculum materials. San Francisco Nativity Academy of Houston is a non-tuition based independent private Christian pre-kindergarten 3 through 8th grade school serving exclusively low-income students and families in the Gulfton area of all faiths and cultures.
